“We can’t say enough amazing things about our last 2 stays at The Moraine! What a great place to disconnect from the day to day chaos and reconnect as a family. We played in the snow, fed deer, went sledding, and visited with the horses. A real breath of fresh air from our typical daily routine, but we still felt right at home! Going into town for a quick bite to eat and to sample the local brews made for a fun outing and we were even able to spot some of the locals (moose, elk, eagles and deer) on our way in. We will be back, and this time for some summer fun!”

“Ric and Jeanne were extremely thoughtful, and flexible about arrival time, and suggestions for dinner prior to arrival. We loved our stay. They were relaxed and friendly. We had interesting conversations in the morning over a full, delicious breakfast.”

“Can I give this place 10 stars?! After using www.AirBNB.com for several years, this was our best experience. The Moraine is a traditional B&B, nestled several miles off the main roa,d in a beautiful wooded setting. The property is stunning; the bedroom/bed 5-stars; and there is an exquisite lodge style living room area complete with a wood burning stove. And I saved the best for last: our hosts Ric & Jeanne were the icing on the cake. They felt like fast friends, and both took the time to give perfect recommendations, and make sure we were comfortable at all times. And, my gosh, we haven’t had a better breakfast our entire trip. Please do yourself a favor, and stay at The Moraine, with Ric & Jeanne – I’m sure it will be the highlight of your trip, just like ours!”

“Jeanne and Ric were excellent hosts! They made me feel completely at home and went above-and-beyond to give me tips and directions for hiking and dining in the area and on the next leg of my trip, as well. The place is gorgeous and very comfortable. It is tucked into the forest at the foot of the Bitterroots, with deer coming by to graze in the evening. I highly recommend a stay at their place!”
