MEET YOUR HOSTS

Your hosts, Jeanne & Ric Walker, have traveled all over the country, looking for the right place to drop anchor. Drawn to the mountains, they had each spent time in Montana, in their earlier lives, but they fell in love with the mountain-rimmed Bitterroot Valley, the first time they laid eyes on it, together.

They enjoy riding their Morgan horses on the myriad trails that cut through the Bitterroots, fishing (or just floating) the trophy rivers, lakes and streams, and attending “small town” events that fill the calendar. They both love cooking, and take pride in filling your stay at The Moraine with wonderful memories.
